The solution to this is to have the fonts in the file where the HTML is created, rather than copied into the file. I did this by just copying the fonts to the html in my app and using a few tiny selectors to find those fonts in the CSS.
The next step is to find the font files within the HTML. (Or the CSS file, if you haven't copied the fonts into the HTML) In this case, I'm using Sass, so I'll show a couple of quick Sass snippets to find a font from the HTML. The first one is for sure-thing, static content: 827ec27edc
